the invention fills the battery in seconds!

Researchers are discovering new ways of charging smartphones in the future. They say they have found a way to charge the smartphone battery in just seconds.

This super fast charging can be done thanks to a substance called graphene. Materials that are often called this magical material is already mentioned has great potential in developing the ability of smartphone batteries.

Some aspects that are expected to be improved are energy storage capabilities. In addition, the aspect of endurance and speed of data charging will also be improved further.

Through some research, researchers get data if graphene can charge in just seven seconds. While the battery that is currently on the market takes a much longer time.

A researcher from a research firm in Europe named Graphene Flagship, Kari Hjelt said they are currently developing this technology. He said if the technology, can be completed in the near future.

"This technology will be completed within two years," said Kari, as quoted from the CNET page.

"Graphene is a relatively new material, so in fact we were quite impressed with the developments it showed in just the last 14 years," he said.

In addition to Graphene Flagship, several other research teams, including Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) have also developed batteries with the same material. But SAIT said the new can get charging speed within 12 minutes.

Just as information, graphene is a thin layer made of pure carbon atoms from graphite extract. This process was first successfully done in 2004 and by a group of researchers.

In addition to delivering energy quickly, graphene also has 200 times the strength compared to steel. However, graphene has a lighter weight when compared to paper. This is why this material earned the nickname "magical material".
